The renowned Indian based Mahindra & Mahindra Motors have decided to increase the production of their flagship XUV500 models so as to roll-out at least 3000-units from coming month in a direction to reduce the waiting period.
Presently, the automaker is producing nearly 2000-units per month, which is expected to increase by around 1000-units from next year. The automaker further desires to increase its production capacity, but it would require some more time as the constituent manufacturers would also have to raise their supply proportion.
According to some reports, the company plans to produce around 4000 to 5000 XUV500 units a month by 2012 July. Nearly 25,000 bookings for the new XUV500 have been received by the company in the 2nd phase, and the automaker will allocate only 7,200-units via a lucky draw.
